RevZilla is a leader in the sale of motorcycle apparel, parts and accessories.  With extreme company-wide growth and a large / ever-growing product selection, we need to scale our ability to ensure availability of our product lines and manage our vendor relationships.  With multiple warehouses under our own operation and a large network of domestic and international vendors through which we source inventory from, this will be a fun challenge for the right individual!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact and manager of assigned vendor relationships
  • Work with vendors to create and/or source sales and marketing collateral to support website merchandising of product lines
  • Collaborate with vendors and other in-house resources to create product line plans for future years
  • Provide feedback to vendors on product issues and needs for future product offerings
  • Manage demand planning, sales forecasting and replenishment for assigned vendors in accordance with budgeted turn rates and growth predictions
  • Manage purchase order lifecycle including backorders and pre-books
  • Approves Purchase Orders for Assistant Buyers
  • Coordinates inventory rotations with vendors when necessary
  • Works with Warranty Department and vendors to address product issues
  • Oversees order processing and PO submission
  • Obtain merchandising assets to ensure resources are properly allocated for product launches
  • Analyze and review existing trends to ensure product listings & pricing remain competitive

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Core Competencies:

  • Motorcycle enthusiast
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience for retail (preferably eCommerce)
  • Thorough knowledge of procurement and vendor management procedures
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • High level of polish in both written and verbal communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • Ability to interact and participate in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-driven environment
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to self-organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Extreme attention to detail
